Meet the Maestra/CEO

anamarie

What started as answering an ad for a summer job has led to her life’s work.
Putting the play back into playing music. Anamarie didn't set out to build a studio — shefollowed a calling that kept getting louder: helping kids grow through music. Over the past30 years, she has taught 200+ students — many of whom begin young and continueplaying through high school.
A doctoral candidate with an MBA in International Business, Anamarie is also a published author and international speaker. She brings a research-informed, deeply human approach to teaching — helping students build real skills through curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
During her doctoral research she realized that Music is Magic! Early music study helps preserve neurological pathways that might otherwise be pruned by around age eight —supporting faster, more creative problem-solving. Musicians are also often better able to self-soothe when feeling anxious or depressed, because music gives them a reliable tool for regulation and expression. And children who study music throughout their childhood finish high school a year ahead of their peers both socially and academically.

Her goal isn't to chase the next prodigy; it's to help each student find their place and space in the world through practice, patience, and joyful progress.
